Matsuura has been undergoing expansion since December 2023 to integrate the two assembly bases in Fukui and Takefu into one. After about a year, the expansion was completed in December 2024, and the “Takefu Assembly Plant” is scheduled to start operations in January 2025, on the 90th anniversary of its founding.
